The Board recognized Kim Wilmoth, Student Achievement Teacher, as the Magnolia School District Certificated Employee of the Month, and Olivia Slick, Health Clerk, as the Classified Employee of the Month. Both honorees were introduced by Mrs. Katie Brown, Principal of Dr. Jonas Salk School.
The Board also recognized Maria De Anda as the Magnolia School District September Volunteer of the Month. She was introduced by Mrs. Stephanie Caldwell, Assistant Principal.
Students from Dr. Jonas Salk School shared a presentation titled “Why Salk? Let Us Count the Ways!” They counted down the top 10 reasons why Salk is an incredible school, highlighting the pride, dedication, learning, inclusion, and strong sense of community that make Salk such a special place.
