Esther Han is recognized for her excellence in elementary vocal music instruction and her ability to inspire students through meaningful, engaging music experiences. Her work fosters creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for Visual and Performing Arts among young learners.
Continuing a Tradition of Arts Leadership
Magnolia School District has a strong tradition of excellence in arts education leadership. Last year, Superintendent Dr. Frank Donavan was honored with a 2025 OCMAA Award as the District Administrator recipient, recognizing his leadership in advancing inclusive, accessible, and high-quality arts education across the district. Dr. Donavan’s vision and support have helped expand music programs, add full-time music teachers at all schools, and grow creative learning opportunities districtwide, affirming Magnolia’s commitment to the arts as a foundational part of student learning.
About the OCMAA Awards
With a history spanning more than three decades, the OCMAA Awards celebrate outstanding contributions in music, dance, theatre, visual and media arts, as well as leadership and advocacy in arts education. Honorees are selected from school districts throughout Orange County and represent the highest standards of excellence in arts education
The 2026 OC Music and Arts Administrators Awards celebration took place on March 4, 2026, at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, bringing together educators, leaders, and community members to celebrate the impact of the arts on student learning.
